Bio
Kayla Casey has devoted 28 years to the field of education, championing student success, staff development, and school safety at every level. A proud three-time graduate of Lamar University, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, a Master of Education in Administration, and a Superintendent Certification.
Kayla currently serves as Principal of Ingram Middle School and AVID District Director, where she leads with a strong belief that all students can learn and that every staff member is vital to student success. Prior to her current role, she spent 11 years as an elementary principal, creating a culture of collaboration, safety, equity, and academic excellence.
Her leadership extends beyond the school walls as an active member of the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TAASP) and the Kiwanis Club, where she serves on the board. Deeply committed to service, Kayla loves giving back to her community and mentoring other educators as they work toward their goals. Guided by her dedication to lifelong learning, safety, and servant leadership, she continues to inspire educators, build community partnerships, and ensure that all students are equipped to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
